Job summary

African American Planning Commission in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Front Desk Monitor for Glenmore Manor. The role ensures front desk coverage, controls access, and upholds security policies while reporting to the Program Director.

The base salary is $42,000 per year. Requirements include a high school diploma, Fire Panel training, and a valid Fire Safety Coordinator license with at least two years in security.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalence and at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledgeable and trained on Fire Panel use.
• Valid Certified Fire Safety Coordinator License (F80, S95) with at least two years’ experience in security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front desk coverage and authorize entrance and departure to guard against theft.
• Patrol premises and conduct perimeter checks to maintain security.
• Check floors, stairwells and exits; report problems to management.
• Maintain visitor logs and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Complete daily activity reports and document incidents timely.
