Hammond Services, Inc. in Griffin, GA is hiring a skilled residential electrical service technician to support South & West Metro Atlanta. This family-owned firm offers robust training and growth opportunities.

You will diagnose, replace, troubleshoot electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, read diagrams, and report work with COD. A valid driver’s license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, replace, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial electrical systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential systems with minimal supervision.
• Discuss electrical system malfunctions with customers to avoid future problems.
• Use software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

Pay Range

• $70,000–$130,000+ annually (based on experience, certifications, and performance)

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, replace, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial Electrical systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential systems with minimal assistance and supervision while sustaining a positive attitude with the customers you service.
• Discuss electrical system malfunctions with customers to avoid future problems.
• Use software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years residential electrical service experience.
• Significant experience troubleshooting in a residential environment.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• At least 22 years old to meet insurance requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiar with a wide range of electrical troubleshooting techniques.
• Highly safety conscious.
• Knowledge of safe work practices on ladders and scaffolding.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Experience making repair and replace decisions.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
• Possess tools needed.
