Job summary

Hammond Services is seeking qualified Electrical apprentices who want to grow with us in Union City, GA. We are a family-owned team serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979, focusing on Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical services.

Candidates should have 1–4 years of electrical experience and strong mechanical abilities. You will assist in installations, maintenance, and repairs, working with other technicians to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of electrical experience.
• Must have good mechanical abilities for growth.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Willing to work in all weather and flexible schedules including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Assist with skilled electrical tasks maintaining, repairing, and servicing fixtures and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair work alongside licensed electricians.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in performing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Assist with the performance of skilled electrical tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed along with Electrician.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous Electrical or industry-related experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in all types of weather
• Mechanical abilities and experience using hand tools.
• Have a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age to drive 22 years old).
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Effectively manage volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
