Job summary

Hero Home Services is seeking an Electrical Service / Selling Technician to diagnose residential electrical issues, prepare estimates, and convert proposals into scheduled projects throughout Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN.

You’ll leverage consultative selling to present options and drive customer decisions. You’ll work with dedicated installation teams, stay current with electrical codes, and build long‑term relationships with customers while advancing into leadership roles as you perform smaller

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional residential electrical service experience.
• 2+ years in customer-facing estimates or sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and safety standards.
• Minnesota electrical registration; apprentices eligible.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across service area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical problems and prepare estimates for residential customers.
• Convert approved proposals into scheduled projects with installation teams.
• Explain options and guide homeowners through purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Maintain detailed service records and follow up on estimates.
