Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre-and post-operation inspection of the vehicle per policy.
• Safely operate truck on designated route and service customers as identified.
• Lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material at facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag accordingly.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable waste and clean spills following safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean waste from packer blade and body as needed.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports.
• Adhere to productivity standards to service all customers efficiently.
• Follow safety policies, stay honest and trustworthy in work.
• Follow and comply with safety policies; additional duties as assigned.
