Job summary

Mr. Holland’s Home Services in Milwaukee seeks an experienced Residential Drain Technician to join our growing team. If you are mechanically inclined and pride yourself on solving problems for homeowners, we want you on board.

You’ll locate and diagnose drain and sewer issues, explain options with clear cost estimates, and perform cleaning and maintenance with professional equipment. Training and advancement opportunities are available in a supportive, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of plumbing systems.
• Some drain cleaning experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm and professional in messy situations.
• Strong verbal and written skills to connect with customers and the team.
• A proven attendance record, a valid driver’s license (insurable), and the ability to pass a drug screen/background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate and diagnose residential drain and sewer issues, assessing the scope of work required.
• Clearly explain problems and repair options to homeowners with transparent cost assessments.
• Clean, unclog, and maintain sewer and drain lines using professional-grade equipment.
• Complete all service records, warranties, and paperwork accurately via our mobile platform.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company truck while adhering to all safety and service standards.
• Actively participate in morning huddles, technical training sessions, and team retreats.

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

• A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and professional in "messy" situations.
• Strong verbal and written skills to connect with customers and the team.
• A proven attendance record, a valid driver’s license (insurable), and the ability to pass a drug screen/background check.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to frequent stoop, kneel and crouch to work in tight spaces.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to push, pull, and carry heavy equipment.
