Job summary

PathWays of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking dedicated Residential Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual disabilities and Autism live independently and with dignity. You’ll support daily living, build routines, and participate in life-enriching activities within our residential homes.

Starting rate is $18/hour, eligible for up to $24/hour with NADSP certifications. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO after 90 days, trainings, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license – and keep it valid while employed.
• 1 year of direct care experience – required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Up-to-date Criminal Background Checks (we help if needed).
• Pre-Employment Physical & TB Test.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in Residential Homes with daily living and enriching activities.
• Help build routines, teach skills, and be a reliable, supportive presence.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication administration, and appointments.
• Organize community outings and help build confidence, independence, and connections.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Residential DSP

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, you’ll support individuals in our Residential Homes with daily living and life-enriching experiences. You’ll help build routines, teach skills, and most importantly — be someone they can count on.
