PathWays of Southwestern Pennsylvania is hiring Residential Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual disabilities thrive. You will support daily living, build routines, and be a dependable role model in our residential homes.

Starting rate is $18/hour, with NADSP certification possibly increasing pay up to $24/hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, paid trainings, and a 403(b) plan, with opportunities for career development and bonuses for referrals.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and keep it valid while employed.
• Minimum 1 year of direct care experience required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record is required.
• Up-to-date Criminal Background Checks and TB test/Pre-Employment physical will be required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in Residential Homes with daily living and life-enriching experiences.
• Help build routines, teach skills, and be a reliable presence they can count on.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication administration.
• Support participation in community outings, errands, and day trips.
• Foster independence, confidence, and meaningful connections.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Residential DSP

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, you’ll support individuals in our Residential Homes with daily living and life-enriching experiences. You’ll help build routines, teach skills, and most importantly — be someone they can count on.
