Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Bennington, VT seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to provide direct support, implement ISAs, and participate in daily group home activities under the Group Home Manager. The role is 40 hours per week on 2nd shift, every other weekend required.

Candidates need a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; prior Direct Service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Direct Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct service to individuals in the group home.
• Implement ISAs consistently and promote independence.
• Support daily routines and community outings.
• Administer medications as assigned.
• Communicate with nursing staff promptly.
• Recordkeeping and documentation of progress notes.
