Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to provide direct support to individuals in a group home setting. You will implement ISAs, support daily living, and assist with medication administration under supervision.

The role is 40 hours per week, 2nd shift, with every-other weekend required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for internal e-mail communication

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: Implement ISAs, promote independence, assist with daily routines.
• Program Implementation & Development: Work with the Group Home team and participate in meetings.
• Recordkeeping: Enter data, progress notes, and monthly summaries timely.
• Housekeeping & Home Management: General housekeeping, grocery shopping, cooking, and supply ordering.
