Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to provide direct support in a group home setting. The role offers a 32-hour work week on the 2nd shift with every other weekend requirements.

Under the Group Home Manager, you will implement ISAs, promote independence, manage daily routines, and participate in team meetings to improve resident quality of life. Strong communication and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for internal e-mail communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: implement ISAs, support daily routines, assist with money management and community outings.
• Program Implementation & Development: collaborate with the Group Home team and develop ISAs, attend meetings, complete trainings.
• Recordkeeping: enter data, progress notes, and monthly summaries accurately and timely.
• Housekeeping & Home Management: assist with chores, shopping, cooking, and maintenance; report issues to the manager.
