Job summary

Easterseals New Jersey is seeking a part-time Residential Counselor to support group home residents with daily living activities in Manchester, NJ and Tom's River, NJ.

You will educate on medications, document services, transport clients with a company van, and help them meet IRP goals. Requires high school diploma or GED and 6 months' direct care experience; driving is required. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to support IRP outcomes.
• Educate residents on medications and conduct monthly audits.
• Document services accurately in required timeframes.
• Coordinate services based on individual needs and transport residents as needed using the company van.
