Job summary

BAMSI in Brockton, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor for MAP to provide rehabilitative support to adults in group living environments, helping with daily living skills and community integration.

You will teach ADLs, implement treatment plans under clinician guidance, supervise medications per MAP guidelines, transport residents, advocate for their needs, and maintain a safe, well-documented home. Evening shifts listed; commitment to trauma-informed care is essential.

Pay Range: $20 - $23.75

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 11pm-9am 30hrs

FLSA: Non Exempt

What You’ll Do:

Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include:

• TeachADLs(cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• ImplementTreatment Plansand behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications perMAP guidelinesand document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus: Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).

Thursday-Saturday 11pm-9am 30
