Job summary

BAMSI in Massachusetts is hiring a Residential Counselor - MAP to support adults in group living environments. The role requires MAP certification and a commitment to trauma-informed care, with duties spanning medication management, daily living skills, and documentation.

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.
• MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification is required for this position. Candidates without current certification must be willing to complete employer-provided training and successfully obtain certification within 3 months.
• Valid driver's license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus : Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
