Jobtailor is seeking a Residential Counselor for a GLE/SIE residential setting in Massachusetts. You will provide direct services, help residents achieve independent living, and implement treatment plan interventions under LPHA coaching.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the team, leading weekly groups, handling daily living tasks, and documenting activities per MAP. Strong emphasis on crisis intervention, advocacy, and collaboration with neighbors and staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in a human service discipline preferred.
• One year as a residential counselor with Persons Served facing mental health challenges preferred.
• One to two years of job-specific human services experience preferred.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a driver's screening background check.
• Personal-vehicle drivers must maintain adequate insurance and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds with proper technique.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct service in a residential setting.
• Help Persons Served overcome barriers to independent living.
• Implement Treatment Plan support interventions under LPHA Clinician coaching.
• Assist the Program Director with orientation and program operations.
• Collaborate with Integrated Team to address needs.
• Schedule and facilitate weekly resident group meetings.
• Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation, and site maintenance.
• Store, administer, document, and dispose of medications per MAP.
• Teach Persons Served medication management.
• Provide crisis interventions and on-call backup when needed.
• Encourage social interaction and a welcoming residential environment.
• Advocate for Persons Served and serve as a resource for neighbors.
• Attend trainings, supervision, and staff meetings.
• Complete required documentation, infection-control inventories.
• Contribute to quality improvement goals and evidence-based practices.
• Assist with organization of surveillance testing as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
