Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor in Massachusetts to support individuals in daily living, skill development, and community participation. You’ll help implement individualized goals and ensure a safe, welcoming environment within residential and community-based settings.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practices, advocacy for client needs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record is required.
• Reliable, eager to learn, and open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service plans and help implement them.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, and personal growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment and document activities accurately and timely.
