Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in residential and community settings, assisting with daily living activities, transportation, and skill-building to promote independence and well-being.

You will develop and implement person-centered service plans, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and document requirements accurately while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service plans and participate in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationships, personal growth, and valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
