Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide personalized support within Vinfen settings. You will assist in developing, implementing, and documenting treatment plans, and help clients build independence and life skills to improve quality of life.

The role includes daily hands-on tasks, coordinating transportation, monitoring progress, and supporting community integration while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• One to three months experience in a human services setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving eligibility are required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Proficiency operating a computer and office equipment.
• First Aid, CPR, and MAP certifications required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting individual treatment support plans.
• Perform daily tasks with persons served including interventions, scheduling, transportation, and progress monitoring.
• Provide role models and help persons served integrate into their communities.
• Assess physical and emotional status; report changes to supervisor.
• Ensure safety and maintenance of the program site; assist with housekeeping and chores.
• Complete paperwork and logs such as communication logs and timesheets.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed.
• Provide current contact information to Relief Pool or HR staff.
