Job summary

Vinfen is seeking dedicated staff to provide individualized support in a residential program, helping individuals become active community participants. You will teach life skills, promote independence, and maintain a safe, clean home environment while partnering with families and staff.

The role emphasizes advocacy, collaboration with nurses and case managers, and ensuring adherence to safety and program policies. A HS diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience and/or training in a related function encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience may substitute for formal education.
• Valid US driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks including lifting at least 25 pounds and assisting with daily living activities.
• CPR and First Aid within specified timelines; MAP and PBS Tier 1 within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to integrate into their communities and maintain friendships.
• Access community-based supports and resources for individuals.
• Plan recreational and social activities promoting social inclusion and emotional well-being.
• Empower individuals to make choices and participate in decision-making.
• Provide transportation as necessary and monitor individual funds and progress notes.
• Maintain records, logs, and incident reports; ensure compliance with safety and policy requirements.
• Deliver trainings and support in rehabilitative, behavioral interventions, and daily living activities.
