Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group or individual settings. You will implement treatment plans,Help residents with daily living activities, manage medications under MAC, and assist with community outings to improve quality of life.

The role requires teamwork, advocacy, and the ability to document progress and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of advocacy techniques and rights-based approaches.
• Ability to communicate using diverse styles with individuals served.
• Experience or training in supports planning and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document treatment plans and ISP/IPs.
• Provide training and support including daily living activities and community integration.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings; monitor financials and records.
• Administer medications per MAC and maintain health records.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and participation in trainings and meetings.
