Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor in Massachusetts to support individuals in residential and community settings. You will help individuals achieve independence through daily living activities, skill-building, and goal attainment while ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

The role includes developing person-centered plans, assisting with transportation and community resources, and promoting engagement and meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service plans and implement them.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with transportation and access to community resources.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationships, personal growth, and valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain required documentation accurately and timely.
