Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Residential Counselor to provide direct care and skill-building support in homes and community settings. You help clients with daily living activities and work toward personal goals while ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

You will support transportation, community participation, and meaningful relationships, guided by person-centered plans and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
