Job summary

Open Sky Community Services Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence within residential and community settings. You will provide direct care, guidance, and skill-building support to help individuals with daily living activities and personal goals.

The role emphasizes advocacy, community participation, and a trauma‑informed, inclusive work culture in Central Massachusetts. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well‑being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
