Job summary

Merakey in Philadelphia, PA is seeking Residential Counselors for the Holiday House program. This part-time role covers Saturdays and Sundays, 8am to 4pm, with 16 hours per weekend.

You will assist residents with daily living, nutrition, hygiene, budgeting, transportation to appointments, and support the treatment team in implementing goal plans. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

The Residential Counselor will providedirection and assistance to consumers residing in theCommunity Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with nutrition,housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress to the appropriate clinician.
