Merakey is seeking a full-time Residential Counselor 3-11 for our CRRs in Delaware County, PA. The position rotates to cover open shifts Tuesday through Saturday, with a starting pay of $18.75 per hour with enhanced pay options.

You will help residents with daily living, safety, and health needs within a Community Residential Rehab setting. The role requires providing guidance, transporting residents, and implementing goal plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and assistance to consumers in CRR programs.
• Assist with nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, and health management.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Support residents with goal plans as instructed by the treatment team.
• Report residents' progress to the clinician and cover open shifts as needed.

Position Details

The Residential Counselor will providedirection and assistance to consumers residing in theCommunity Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with nutrition,housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress to the appropriate clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed
