Job summary

BAMSI in Kingston, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments. You will teach ADLs, support daily living skills, and help residents integrate into the community.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans under clinician guidance, supervising medications per MAP guidelines, transporting residents to appointments, advocating for residents’ needs, and maintaining a safe, clean home with timely documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; mental health experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus: lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
