Kinterra Design Build, a residential remodeling specialist in the Denver Metro area, seeks a Superintendent to own field operations and deliver projects on schedule, with clear communication and leadership. This role coordinates subcontractors, monitors quality, and ensures safe, organized sites in occupied homes.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in residential construction, strong reading of plans, knowledge of codes, and a disciplined, proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or related supervision.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating subcontractors and managing day-to-day field activities.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, materials, and building methods in residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
• Working knowledge of building codes, permits, and safety practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good judgment with practical in-field problem solving and timely decisions.
• Clear communication skills and accountability with trade partners.
• Reliable follow-through and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and materials.
• Monitor progress against schedule, identify delays, and coordinate next steps to stay on track.
• Communicate expectations, confirm readiness, and follow up on deadlines.
• Inspect work for quality and address deficiencies before progression.
• Make sound day-to-day decisions and elevate significant issues with proposed solutions.
• Work from drawings, documents, and applicable codes and requirements.
• Coordinate material needs, deliveries, and site conditions to minimize downtime.
• Promote safe, organized job sites and professional conduct in occupied homes.
• Keep leadership informed about progress, risks, and decisions needing attention.
• Document site activity, progress, issues, and updates.
