Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to lead on-site execution of single-family, multifamily, and renovation projects in Memphis. You will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining MS Project/CPM schedules, processing RFIs and change orders, and communicating clearly with owners, architects, and engineers. Strong leadership and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on residential construction projects, on schedule and within budget.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and day-to-day field operations.
• Familiarity with MS Project and CPM scheduling.
• Experience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction docs.
• OSHA-30 certification preferred; safety management knowledge.
• Ability to manage procurement and material deliveries.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• BS degree in construction mgmt/engineering or related field or equivalent.
• Willingness to work on-site full time and travel between sites.

• Maintain logs, progress reports, punch lists, and turnover docs.
• Facilitate communication among owners, architects, engineers, PMs, and subs.
• Implement site processes to improve productivity, safety, and cost control.

Residential Construction Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to lead on-site execution of single-family, multifamily, and/or residential renovation projects. The Superintendent will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards by coordinating subcontractors, overseeing day-to-day site activities, implementing schedules, and maintaining clear communication with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily site operations and supervise on-site personnel to ensure efficient progress and compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain production flow, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using MS Project and/or CPM scheduling methods; proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks.
• Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as-built documentation in coordination with project managers and engineers.
• Enforce safety programs and OSHA compliance on site, lead toolbox talks, conduct safety inspections, and ensure incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality control, conduct inspections at major milestones, and resolve field issues to meet contract requirements and owner expectations.
• Track field budgets and labor costs, report progress and variances to the project management team, and support procurement and material purchasing decisions.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation; coordinate inspections and final turnover activities.
• Facilitate clear communication among owners, architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and drive project completion.
• Implement and refine site processes and best practices to improve productivity, safety, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on residential construction projects (new builds, multifamily, or renovations) with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong site supervision skills with demonstrable experience managing subcontractors and day-to-day field operations.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; experience with MS Project and CPM scheduling strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing and responding to RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of safety management and OSHA regulations; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to manage procurement activities and coordinate material deliveries to meet schedule requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, and field personnel.
• Proficiency with construction reporting, daily logs, punch lists, and closeout procedures.
• Valid drivers license; bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site full time and travel between project sites as required.
