Job summary

Hutch Design + Build in Fort Collins is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead 3–4 active remodeling projects. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, and client communications alongside the Director of Construction.

You’ll own on-site decisions, coordinate trades, and keep Buildertrend updates current while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Regular travel to active sites in Northern Colorado is required; you’ll mentor a small team and be the key link between homeowners, trades,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in residential remodeling or custom homes.
• At least 2 years as lead or superintendent.
• Able to read full plan sets and specs and identify conflicts.
• Confident managing multiple jobs and trade partners simultaneously.
• Proficient with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activity across 3–4 active jobs.
• Manage budgets and schedules set at kickoff; keep current in Buildertrend.
• Sequence trades, inspections, and deliveries; resolve needs within 24 hours.
• Make on-site decisions and escalate only for changes in money or scope.
• Maintain daily and weekly logs for office visibility.
• Ensure daily site safety and cleanliness, with weekly inspections.
• Provide homeowner updates between milestones and during walkthroughs.
• Close out punch lists on time and hand off complete closeout packages.
