Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for modular residential projects in Colorado. The role requires leading from framing through finish, coordinating in-house staff and subcontractors, and ensuring schedules, safety, and quality across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in residential construction, strong leadership and reading plans skills, and willingness to travel nationwide, including Colorado-based work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience.
• Significant experience with single-family or multifamily residential construction.
• Mountain building experience is a plus.
• Previous Superintendent or similar leadership experience.
• RBC experience/knowledge required.
• Strong technical understanding of residential construction from civil, sitework through finish.
• Experience managing both employees and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced construction operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction operations from framing through final finish.
• Lead and coordinate in-house employees and subcontractors.
• Manage daily production, manpower, materials, and workflow.
• Maintain project schedules while ensuring quality and productivity.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues quickly.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Enforce safety and quality standards throughout construction.
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical direction to project teams.
• Coordinate with project management and company leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and production efficiency.
• Travel to project locations nationwide as required.
