Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in industrial arts, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Inspects units for HVAC, plumbing, insulation, safety, and structural components to ensure code compliance.
• Records discrepancies or code violations; notifies owners and contractors; issues stop orders and conducts final inspections.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains records.
• Installs devices and equipment and maintains inventory.
• Receives and investigates complaints regarding code violations and zoning ordinances; provides information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
