If that sounds like your kind of day, you’ll thrive with Airtron.MissionDeliver dependable residential HVAC service that restores comfort and earns customer trust—every call, every time.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.Inspect ductwork; keep company tools and materials in good working order.Identify, wire, and start up complete HVAC systems; run start-up tests and record results as needed.Troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs to keep equipment operating properly.Perform full-system inspections and communicate any concerns to dispatch/customers.Explain all services and repairs performed and debrief with dispatch, attaching documentation.Coordinate daily schedule with the office; order and stage all required parts in advance.Transport parts, materials, and tools; maintain accurate accounting of assigned items.Complete tablet/paperwork accurately and on time.Leave work areas spotless; maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.Uphold company performance standards, ethics, and all safety procedures; wear protective floor savers in homes.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimumHigh school diploma or GED.1+ year HVAC service experience.EPA Certification.Soldering/brazing skills.Clear English communication—verbal and written.Basic computing skills; comfortable using a computer, laptop, or tablet.Basic web navigation and email (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).Valid driver’s license.Willingness to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends.PreferredHVAC trade school certification.1–2 years of construction, HVAC, or related experience.How You Show UpPositive, team-oriented, and eager to learn.Builds strong relationships with internal and external customers.Collaborative across all levels of the organization.Safety-first mindset; embraces a strong safety culture.Relevant experience may stand in for formal education.Environment & Physical DemandsWork primarily in occupied homes and construction sites; minimal office time.Drive to multiple job locations.Frequent exposure to equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials, and odors.Indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions with appropriate PPE.Operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift.Lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently.Climb ladders/stairs; work at heights and occasionally on platforms/scaffolding with fall protection.Regular climbing, bending, crawling, kneeling, and crouching.Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, and safety-toe boots.Extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting.Able to hear/understand speech and other sounds for safe equipment/phone operation.Normal depth perception and close/distance/peripheral vision (with or without correction).Comfort communicating verbally; able to enter data via keyboard or 10-key keypad.Reach overhead; signal, grasp, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull tools and materials.Tools & TechnologiesMachines & technologies you'll use:HVAC SystemshvacCore ProficienciesHVACHeating and Air ConditioningWhy AirtronWe’ve built our name on integrity and craftsmanship for more than four decades.
