Job summary

Airtron in Dallas seeks an HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential heating and cooling systems. You will inspect ducting, wire and commission complete systems, and document performance results on each call.

A high school diploma or GED, 1+ year HVAC experience, EPA Certification, and good English are required. You’ll work on occupied homes and construction sites, drive between locations, and use tablets/computers (Outlook).

Qualifications

  • Graduates with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Technicians with 1+ year of HVAC service experience and an active EPA Certification.
  • Pros who can solder/braze and communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • People comfortable with tablets/computers, basic internet use, and email (Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems.
  • Check ducting and ensure company tools/materials stay in serviceable condition.
  • Wire and commission complete systems; perform start-ups; test & record performance results.
  • Troubleshoot, recommend fixes, and make repairs to restore proper function.
  • Conduct thorough inspections; communicate open issues to dispatch and the customer.
  • Explain all work performed in clear terms to dispatch/customer.
  • Coordinate your schedule directly with the office and order parts so you’re ready for upcoming calls.
