Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring energetic CDL drivers with automatic side load experience for routes in Concord, NC. The role involves operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes to pick up garbage, yard waste, or recycling, and supervising helpers while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT rules.

Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL, have a clean driving record, be at least 21, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL for the state of work.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Understand DOT requirements for commercial vehicles.
• Hearing must be in the normal audio range.
• Vision must be in the normal range.
• Ability to operate refuse trucks and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and dumps garbage/recyclables.
• Delivers a high level of customer service on all interactions.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections per Waste Pro procedures and DOT guidelines.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and performs routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Oversees helpers on the route and ensures safety and compliance.
• Prepares and submits required company and regulatory reports.
