Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking energetic CDL drivers with automatic side load experience in the waste industry. You will operate refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and deliver courteous service to residential customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
• Ability to speak/read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a refuse truck on pre-established routes and dumps at designated facilities.
• Provide courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward company goals and customers.
• Ensure proper pickup of garbage/recycling and tag improper containers when needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and keep up safety logs.
• Maintain clean truck; inspect under hood and tires and log fuel and fluid levels.
