Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of work
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to read and speak English well
• Ability to work with others and follow routes and schedules

Responsibilities

• Safely drives on pre-established routes and dumps garbage and recyclables
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service on routes
• Maintains a positive attitude toward company and community goals
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of refuse; may tag containers
• Performs daily pre/post-trip inspections and safety checks
• Keeps truck clean; conducts routine inspections under hood and around vehicle
• Assists with manual cleanup of scattered refuse and operates truck hydraulics
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents
• Supervises helpers on the vehicle during routes
• Complies with Department of Transportation and state requirements for CMVs
