Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in Concord, North Carolina is seeking energetic Residential Rear Load Drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes and provide courteous customer service on every stop.

Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record, be 21 years or older, and meet DOT requirements. Expect to work 8–12 hours in various weather conditions; a driver award program is available for outstanding performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand and follow Department of Transportation and State requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Maintain written records and service responses.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and collects and dumps garbage on a residential route.
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service and represents the company well.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of garbage and recyclables; uses appropriate containers.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks as required.
• Maintains a clean truck, inspects under hood and tires, and washes vehicle regularly.
• Performs cleanup of scattered refuse and handles large trash bins as needed.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents on time.
• Oversees helpers on the vehicle and ensures safety compliance.
• Complies with DOT and state requirements for drivers of commercial vehicles.
• May be required to work during emergency situations.
