Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring energetic CDL drivers for automatic side-load refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes in South Carolina. Responsibilities include pre/post trip checks, safe driving, and excellent customer service to residents and businesses.

The position requires a Class A or B CDL, clean driving record, and adherence to DOT regulations. A $10,000 driver award is available, attainable every three years with meeting criteria.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand DOT requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Be able to drive front-end, side, rear-end, or roll-off refuse trucks.
• Maintain records and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and dumps garbage on designated route points.
• Provides courteous and expeditious customer service on all routes.
• Performs Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections as per company procedures and DOT guidelines.
• Maintains clean truck and conducts routine checks; supports truck maintenance as needed.
• Prepares, maintains, and submits required company and regulatory reports.
• Oversees helpers on the vehicle during the designated route.
