Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a Residential CDL Driver in New London, Wisconsin. You will safely operate a residential waste collection vehicle, load materials, and maintain accurate route documentation.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, addressing vehicle issues promptly, and enforcing safety standards. The role may involve overtime and supervision of helpers, with competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria and operate waste collection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck and hydraulic system on route.
• Load waste/recyclables into the vehicle and assist with backdoor routes if needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete route reports daily.
• Maintain route quality, follow safety policies, and communicate issues to supervisors.
• May supervise helpers and work overtime as required.
