Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a highly responsible CDL driver to operate residential and recycling collection routes. You will load waste and recyclables, perform routine inspections, and document route activity.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and strict adherence to safety policies. You will collaborate with supervisors to maintain route efficiency and ensure driver safety on all assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe operation of the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck and related equipment on assigned routes.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle and ensure proper separation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Identify prohibited items and tag/remove them from carts as needed.
• Maintain route quality and follow all safety policies and procedures.
