Alternative Services - Oregon, Inc. in Eugene/Springfield seeks an Assistant House Manager to lead a residential team and support individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will help implement behavior support plans, supervise staff, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure safety and quality of care. In this role you will de‑escalate challenging behaviors, model professional responses, and promote a calm, compassionate, structured environment where dignity and well‑being are central

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge of supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• Strong understanding of de-escalation techniques and safety interventions.
• Leadership and coaching skills to guide and support direct care staff.
• Knowledge of behavior support plans, incident reporting, and documentation.
• Ability to make sound decisions in high-stress or crisis situations.
• Clear written and verbal communication; commitment to dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support development of behavior support plans tailored to clients' needs.
• Assist in managing daily routines in a residential group home.
