Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years experience working with the developmentally disabled.
• Valid NYS driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staff assignments and maintain the Residence per policy.
• Provide care to program residents to promote independence and productivity.
• Supervise DSPs, distribute work, and train staff; maintain documentation in Avatar.
• Assist consumers with personal needs and daily living activities.
• Enter consumer data and participate in interdisciplinary team processes.
• Dispense medication as necessary and maintain medical certification.
• Assist in transport to appointments and activities; communicate with staff.
