Job summary

YWCA Northeast Indiana Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Client Care Technician to provide resident support in a shelter setting.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, coordinating activities, handling crisis calls, and maintaining daily records while ensuring safety and compliance with program policies. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, CPR/First Aid cert, and 1–3 years of office experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with professional communication.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment when handling sensitive matters.
• Strong time management and initiative to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• 1-3 years of general office experience including reception/telephone duties.
• Accurate, organized and detail-oriented with ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve client issues; maintain a high quality work environment.
• Assist with planning and carrying out groups and activities.
• Receive and respond to crisis calls.
• Complete welcome packets and intake duties.
• Maintain resident compliance with rules and standards; document deviations.
• Provide positive reinforcement and/or redirection and complete necessary write-ups.
• Transport clients in company vehicles; assist with safe food provision as needed.
• Perform drug/alcohol screens as directed and document results.
