Job summary

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, experience in office settings, and CPR/First Aid certification, with flexibility for weekend night hours.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate in a professional manner with a wide range of people.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion when handling potentially confidential or sensitive matters.
• Strong time management skills; ability to take initiative to solve problems and work with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• 1-3 years of general office experience, including reception and telephone duties, and general office equipment.
• Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented, with ability to work under pressure and shift priorities.
• Must comply with automobile insurance: valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance.
• Flexibility to change work hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve client issues; create and maintain a high quality work environment.
• Assist with planning and carrying out groups and activities as assigned.
• Receive and respond to crisis calls.
• Complete welcome packets and other intake duties as assigned.
• Maintain and oversee resident compliance with YWCA rules and standards; direct disciplinary action when needed.
• Provide positive reinforcement and/or re-direct clients; document when guidelines are not followed.
