Job summary

New Haven is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Spanish Fork, Utah. On-site position with both full-time and part-time schedules. You will work alongside therapists and clinical staff, providing hands-on support, leading daily activities, and helping residents build coping skills.

Paid training is provided. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 21+, hold a valid Utah driver’s license, and be able to pass a background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass a Utah State background check
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before first day of work

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents
• Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming
• Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation
• Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits
• Maintain a safe, structured, trauma‑informed environment
• Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans
• Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership
• Use safe verbal de‑escalation and physical intervention skills when needed
