Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Lake Ariel, PA is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician for our 60-bed residential program offering detox and inpatient rehab services. You will manage daily operations, support the BHT team, supervise activities and help maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year in recovery, a valid driver's license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One year of experience in recovery field.
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
