Job summary

Arch Recovery Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for an all-male residential treatment facility. The role involves direct support, supervision, and guiding clients through daily activities, transportation, and recovery goals in a structured, therapeutic environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings (UDS).
• Must maintain a minimum of one year of continuous sobriety from alcohol and illicit substances.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise clients to ensure safety and adherence to facility rules and guidelines.
• Provide support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement during recovery.
• Conduct admissions, orientations, and discharge-related activities as assigned.
• Perform routine client observations and wellness checks.
• Document client interactions, incidents, behaviors, and activities accurately.
