Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Lake Ariel is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to join our 60-bed residential facility. You will support daily operations, supervise staff, and help maintain a warm recovery environment for clients in detox and inpatient rehab programs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in the recovery field, and a valid driver's license with CPR certification preferred. A compassionate, boundary-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year of experience in recovery field.
• Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sobriety required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with firm boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transport, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One year of experience in recovery feild
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
