Job summary

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center (MMYTC) seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support adolescents in a residential setting in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role focuses on safety, daily living skills, and treatment plan implementation while collaborating with licensed clinicians and educators.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, observing progress, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required, plus a minimum of two years of combined education/experience in human services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, accountability and security of campus.
• Teach, coach and supervise students in activities of daily living.
• Observe peer culture for progress or regression in the program.
• Observe individual student behavior over time and recognize progress towards goals.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Follow and implement individual treatment plans for all students.
• Recognize escalating behaviors and intervene to ensure safety.
