Job summary

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center (MMYTC) is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for Specialized Residential Services to support adolescent girls in a structured, trauma-informed setting in Arizona. You will supervise youth, assist with daily living, and implement treatment plans under clinical leadership.

Requirements include 21+, background check, and relevant education/experience. The role offers a $18.50–$20.30/hour wage, a $2–$3 shift differential, and a $2,000 signing/retention

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background check and obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Education/Experience options as described in the posting.
• Experience with youth and behavioral health preferred.
• Strong professional boundaries and judgment working with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security, and therapeutic structure of the residential environment.
• Provide active supervision and accountability of youth during shifts.
• Teach and supervise daily living activities (morning/evening routines, hygiene, meals, organization).
• Supervise life-skills activities and community outings.
• Document observations and incidents accurately.
